TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design and it's a yearly conference in Long Beach in California that started in 1984.

TED is something really cool and also worth many hours of your time once you are hooked on it. TED gives the worlds most facinating thinkers and doers this simple task: Give us the best talk of your life, (in 18 minutes or less). One invited speaker asked about this and said "I don't know what to say", and got the reply "Don't worry, just be profound". So you can imagine how good theese talks are!

I have a system for work: Run around like a squirrel on speed and work on every task no more than four seconds.

I have a system for forgetting where I put my keys: Put them in a new place every single time I leave them somewhere because I sure can use a little more frustrations in my life.

I found this hilarious speach by United States Senator Ted Poe. Addressing congress on the topic of low energy light bulbs. Well, they suck. He doesn't come right out and say so, but his arguments are really good and that's the conclusion of what he says. I agree.

So please do not buy theese things, the upsides are not worth it when you compare them to the really major downsides. Especially since there are alternatives that all the upsides without the major downsides, there is a link in the end of the article about them.
